If you are planning a wedding, dinner, birthday celebration, business/corporate meeting or any other type of celebration, the Kangaroo Flat Sports Club offers a relaxing atmosphere and environment to make your special event a success.
A $500 bond is required when booking a 21st Birthday.

TO VIEW OUR FUNCTION ROOM – appointments preferred
Function rooms can be viewed prior to booking, please contact the functions manager to make a time to view and to answer any question you may have.
Tuesday – Thursday 9.00am – 4.00pm
Fridays between 9.00am and 3.00pm
After hours appointments can be made under special circumstances at an agreeable time for both parties
A tentative booking can be made with no obligation for the day you may require (if it’s available). If there is a request from another party for the date you tentatively booked, you will receive a courtesy call asking if you still require the date, before removing your booking.

Main Function Room
The Kangaroo Flat Function Centre Main Function Room can cater for up to 100 guests for a formal occasion or 140 guests for a cocktail style function.
The Glass Room
The Glass Room can cater for 50 up to guests for a formal occasion or up to 70 guests for a cocktail style function.
Main Function Room and Glass Room
Guests can request for both the Main Function Room and Glass Room to be opened up together to cater for up to 180 guests for a formal occasion or up to 220 guests for a cocktail style function.
The Board Room
The Board Room can cater for intimate groups with up to 20 guests seated or 30 guests cocktail style.

NO ROOM HIRE
There is no room hire charged on either of the function rooms when there is a minimum of 30 guests and the function is having a sit-down meal. If numbers drop below 30 and room hire of $90 for the Glass room and $150.00 for the function room will be charged to the organiser of the function unless prior arrangements have been made with the function manager.

There is a $500.00 bond required for all Wedding Receptions at time of booking
Final number for all bookings must be advised 5 days prior to the date, for non-attendees on the night, you will be charged the full price per head
For business/corporate meetings, the new boardroom overlooks the sporting ground with full electronic data projector, screen and kitchenette/small bar facilities.
The boardroom has a room hire of $150.00 per day
Screen and projector are available free of charge if required.
The system has audio capabilities from the laptop if required.
Available all year round including special Christmas menus for the month of December
Our set menus have been designed to offer flexibility in choice and price.
Bistro menu available – conditions apply
All guests on the evening will be offered the menu that has been chosen by the organiser.
Vegetarians and other dietary requirements
They need to be pre-arranged prior to the night with the function manager.
There are 3 ways to purchase beverages for your function
- Tab format (value set by organiser) – House beer, wine or soft drink only unless full bar is requested by the organiser and charged on consumption.
- Guests to purchase and pay their own way
- Set price per head $30.00 for 5 hours, house beer, wine and soft drink only
We do not allow BYO food or beverages – excluding birthday cakes
Functions need to provide their own music, we have a stage for bands, Jukebox or DJ, also a dance floor, which does not encroach on the dining area.
The stage & dance floor when the function room is separated into 2 is only available in the larger room of the 2.
We have full PA system with multiple micro versions to choose from

Our projector system includes a portable projector with PC/Laptop connections (can be set up anywhere in the room) with a 6ft screen with no time factor. (no audio from a laptop)
You are more than welcome to test the equipment prior to the function
We provide limited decoration for Wedding Receptions and Christmas functions only. You may decorate the room yourself, please coordinate a time with the function manager for you to access the room to do this.
No sticky tape or pins are permitted. Minimal glitter motifs is allowed but must be agreed with the function manager prior to the function.
All decoration bought into the venue must be removed at the end of the night unless an alternate arrangement has been made with the function manager.
We do not supply or arrange event cakes for you, however we provide napkins, cutlery, side plates all on request and will store the cake in the fridge until needed.
If you wish to have us cut and serve the cake as dessert with garnishes, this will incur a cost of $3.00 per serve, the garnishes are cream, berry coulis and strawberry
